How to Plan a Stress-Free Corporate Holiday Lunch

The holidays are the one time of year your whole team is in the same mood: ready to celebrate. The hard part is getting the food right without adding another job to someone's to-do list.

Here is how to plan a corporate holiday lunch that feels easy for you and memorable for your team.

1. Pick your date early

December fills up fast. Offices want the same few days before the break, and caterers get booked. Choose your date and a backup as soon as you can, then lock in your caterer before you send the invite. Once the food is settled, everything else gets simpler.

2. Know your headcount

You do not need an exact number, but you need a good one. Count your team, then add anyone joining from other offices, plus a few extra for guests and drop-ins. A close headcount keeps you from running short or paying for food that goes home in a bag.

3. Choose food that feels like a celebration

A holiday lunch should feel different from a regular Tuesday. Mix a few showpiece dishes with comfort favorites so there is something for everyone.

Our Party Food menu does exactly that. Tray favorites include shrimp, teriyaki salmon, lollipop lamb chops, meatballs, fried chicken, jerk chicken, curry chicken and crab balls. Pair them with sides like seafood mac, regular mac, fresh green beans, roasted Brussels sprouts, asparagus, yellow rice, garlic mashed potatoes, pasta salad, seafood pasta and a loaded garden salad.

Have a guest with dietary needs? Tell us when you book, and we will talk it through with you.

4. Keep serving day simple

The best office party is the one where nobody has to run the kitchen. Our Party Food menu is drop off only, with setup and plasticware included. We bring it, set it up, and your team enjoys it. No dishes, no scrambling for serving spoons.

5. Think about the room

A conference room, a break room and an open floor all work differently. Decide where people will eat and where the food will sit so lines move and everyone can find a seat. A little planning here makes the whole event feel relaxed.

6. Make one call

Our Party Food menu starts with 12 trays for $2,200. If you are planning a holiday event, call us at 443-500-6381 or email info@landmcatering.biz, and we will help you hold a date.
